A small group of volunteers from Fife Conservation Group visited the reserve on both Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th April 2012; staying overnight at the nearby Crianlarich Youth Hostel.....more

Explorer Scouts from Rosyth, Dalgety Bay and Kirkcaldy stayed at the reserve over the weekend of Friday 9th to Sunday 11th March 2012.....more

FCG Visits 2011
Apologies for the lack of website updates over the last 6-months; however 2011 has been such a busy year for Fife Conservation Group and its members that websites updates have been overlooked!

Change of Name
The Group formally known as Fife Air Cadet Conservation Group (FACCG) and who are responsible for the management of The Colin Burt Reserve in Glen Dochart have changed their name to Fife Conservation Group FCG) to reflect the ever increasing number of members who are not Air Cadets.....more

FACCG Visit - 5th March 2011
Fifteen volunteers visited the reserve over the weekend of 5th & 6th March 2011 and stayed over at Crianlarich Youth Hostel whilst one of our new volunteers - Steven - came along for the Saturday.....more

The Project Woodland site contains a `wetland` area, which will be managed by the group in accordance with Rural Stewardship Scheme (RSS) regulations.....more
